We all have rules in life

We all have rules in life, what are these rules and who makes them?  Do we make rules based on our preceptions cultures and experiences?

Some weired rules in life; never party with colleagues, never date your friends ex., I am not going to eat non veg on tuesday-thursday, I will marry a person of the same caste, I will not marry the person of same profession, I want someone who earns more than me and the list goes on.

But how many times do we follow these rules? Do we follow them everyday, once a month or once a year? Sometimes these rules in our life become the seeds of secrets. All of us have secrets.

Have you not even once thought of breaking a rule and entering into the no entry zone, ofcorse all of us have cheated ourself once or twice! But never have we been able to identify that makes us break rules more often than following them. Do we break rules according to our convience. Do we break rules if someone comes or leaves our lives

When rules dominate our lives , we try enforcing on others or atleast influencing others.  Where do they come to us, sometimes nobody gets to know of our rules and they think of us as rigid. Do we change our rules in life or are they are like new year resolutions.
And when we alter  rules in our life do we pay a price. And the baggage of these rules overburden us.

Do we select area of life where we have these rules.  Maybe rules at work, rules for marriage, rules in a relationship, rules for life. But when we have these rules do we follow our heart. Can you actually go with the flow when you follow rules.

So take out your diaries write down those rules see where they come from and where you would like them to go with you. But the fact is life is too short for rules  and to long for regrets.

The Mad House Series XIII

The Birthday Girl Speech

To my beloved Mad House and its people,

One the occasion of my birthday, I would like to thank you, not only for adding my name to the list of wandering writers but also for making me what I am today. And I take the liberty and to say it on behalf of all the mad people, that no matter how much we crib, dislike but there is a certain madness which keeps us hooked to you.

Dear Mad House, I would first like to Thank you for giving me some great Mad people in life, starting from the Boss whose enthusiasm and energy is an inspiration, great friends who are known world wide for their own specific reasons, like the guardian powerful women , the half drunk Mr.AA and the Indian Tom Cruise. Then how can I forget the support of universal Amma who has links to MHA and ISI at the same time. The crazy, mindblowing team who are great not only for parties but for work as well. Each and everyone of them are great living character of these series. These people and their innocence have made these series a great success which no one except them understand.

My dear Mad House we all have seen the reel social service you have done (thanks to Imran) but how can we forget the real social service you are doing and have done to people like Mr. DJ, Mr. P and the guy whose body was inherited by ghosts, they are really thankful to you. And when the other day when Mr. AA said that everyone working in Mad house is like a person indulging in fishing, now since they don't get time from their busy schedule ,thanks to your working hours and after hours they fix their kaanta here itself and some of them have been successful and having a 'they lived happily ever after'. But how can he forget that person who has benefited the maximum is he himself, being the real fisherman and having various Sushis.

Someone says that people who come to Mad House are half mad and while they stay here they become fully mad. But the truth is that all of us like, infact love this madness. So much that we can't live without it. When we mad people don't like you, we leave you and then we don't like the world, so we shun the world and come back to you. After some time you don't like us and then you throw us out but we still love you so much that now we can't leave you.

Hence my dearest mad house and its people , you have planted seeds of passion in me, you have sculpted my thinking for a rights based approach. I take my every ounce to thank you  for making me truly deeply mad about you.

Yours Madly,
The Mad Writer

Adulthood Means Lot of Responsibility

Being an adult doesn't mean you have the brains and driving license,
it means a bag full of responsibilities.

Being adult means wether you like it or not you have to take the responsibility of your life, your house, car, tubelights, taps, boys and girls.

Being an adult doesn't only gives you the license to drink on week days it gives you more situations where you say, 'why did I drink'

Being an adult doesnt only make you lie but you often speak truth to yourself. You have to face truth more often than lies

Being an adult is not only about new cars, jobs, houses but about old friends, parents and pets

Being an adult you have to forgive more and forget less.

Being an adult is being an adult,  you like it or not...

Happy Teachers Day

Today 5th of September , we the MAD people would like to wish the inspiration, motivation of MAD House, the BOSS! a very Happy Teacher's Day.

The MAD Poem

There is silence in the early hours
but in the evening its like a legal bar.
Life catches its momentum
when MAD people are around.

All they hope is a cup of tea in the day
and a party in may.

They drink beer and
never fear.

Sometimes they dont sleep
as they might have a leap.

One person is the inspiration
the others are motivation.

Money or no money
they are all funny

All they need is the colour black and white
and some files, flags and a clerks all right.

They think in terms of dates
and have no time for mates.

There are misters and sisters
there are brothers and sisters
there are husband and wife
but in the whole building there is no knife
